The day before was the qualifying round for Novice, Intermediate and Open Women, to top that off, we also had the Novice, Intermediate and Open Men. We utilized both the indoor rock wall, as well as the outdoor one at the A.L.C. [Adventure Learning Centre]. Things got awry first thing in the morning with the Registration Booth. The collection of money wasn't really a problem, but the filling of the forms snowballed into quite a gimongous chaotic situation that took quite a while to subdue. As expected, Zaid wasn't really pleased to see all these, so he stepped in to "alleviate" the confusion. Nonetheless, it did help.

Anyway, moving on, Heng Yi took part in the Intermediate Men Category. He was the first climber [IM01], ascending up the 25m (estimated) wall steadily. His first slip happened at around the second or third panel. But he managed to cling on the the wall using the crimp, where his finger strength kind of "saved his fall". The second one was due to a totally unexpected slip that caused his fall. He thought he had it there but as he was making a move for the subsequent tile, his leg slipped under him, and he fell off from the wall, with the harness arresting his fall.

But, it wasn't too bad hur! The Registration Booth was in charge of tabulating the results, so I had an insight on who made it to the Finals- the top 8 qualifiers. Many other climbers fell at around the same tiles as Heng Yi did, so his chances of winning wasn't completely eliminated.

:c But the downside was that the Intermediate Men's route had a few extreme sit-in moves which Heng Yi might have had difficulties executing due to his knee injury.

When results were out, guess what!!??

BABI made it to the Finals!! At the 8th position! With a knee injury!! Muahaha! Congrats :]

O, ya, we've got our own mascot too, his name is Max, the frog Matthew and Penguin caught at A.L.C. on Friday night. Jeannie, Iffah and ZiZi were so freaked out at the mere sight of the frog. Gosh, it wasn't even out of the tub! For God's sake, it was safely secured inside. -.-''

The day was freaking tiring on the whole.

Zz, oink, zz, oink..

Suddenly, everything seems so predictable. What with climbmax promising it would be a fast game, I end up having to stay till the competition ends to tabulate the results. -.-" In a normal circumstance, I would not complain, but because so much stuffs has since happened, I kind of don't give a damn. UTs coming up, things doesn't seem well, good game, girl, prepare to fail :[
