Argh! So cash-strapped.. Kader has not given us our pay yet. I am in serious need of $$! About the back-packing trip that we had discussed for so long, finally, we got the initial stages straightened out. We, meaning my childhood friends: Brian and Kenneth, Amelia (Kenneth's girlfriend), Heng Yi and I. Destination: Japan (Tokyo, Sapporo and Hokkaido). We would be spending approximately 10 days there :] But the problem is... it seems like we are going next year end. I seriously doubt I can save enough money. HELP!

How I envy Zi Ning, leading such a happy-go-lucky life :] Accompanied by the beauty and elegance of food, carefree laughter and utmost fun. 幸福,真的很幸福。我们要好好珍惜。
It is going to be a tough year ahead for us. Hope we can pull through. 加油!Everyone!

Hm, I haven't been updating the blog for a long long while. Well, significant updates that happened, well much had happened.

The I.T. show got me a little worked up. Not because of the job or anything. Part of the reason was because of Belle. Anyways, I worked in the I.T. show, for ACER, yet again. Surprisingly, for a second-timer-noob-cum-I.T.-idiot like me, I managed to learn a wee bit more about I.T. stuffs and scraped through selling 19 laptops in 2 days! Mind you! N-I-N-E-T-E-E-N!? I don't know how I managed to pull that stunt off :x For the record, I sold 20 laptops in the last I.T. show in 4 days. A big thanks to Matthew and Yu Han, for dropping by, Boss too :] And an especially Gimongous thanks to my Babi, for being there. Gosh, it was so tiring working, but at least it seemed like there was something to look forward to at the end of the day.

Holidays are on full swing. It is like an excercising regimen for me. We had planned to combine fun with healthy lifestyle or something along that line, yeap, you got the idea. Went for "trekking" on monday, 15th December. The month December was significant enough to warn anyone that it was "the rainy season". Nevertheless, the foolish me still went ahead without giving it so much of a second thought. Lols, so we walked all the way from Yishun to Upper Pierce Reservoir on foot, bringing nothing but our EZ-link cards, my I.C., a packet of tissue, his handphone and a handy pouch to contain those items mentioned above [p.s.: notice the absence of an umbrella].

We continued walking until the last part of our trip, when we just entered the entrance of Upper Pierce Reservoir [and the entrance is so so so so so... far away from the real destination, considering that we were on foot], not long after, it started drizzling. Great. Now, Mr. Babi Henry had to mention: 下大一点啊! [meaning make it rain heavier!] *Bish, and it really did.

We. Were. Drench.

Envision that chinese phrase 落汤鸡 and then fit us into the picture. We fit EXACTLY. Armed with nothing over our heads and a shelter so so many million steps away, vulnerable, we stand. In spite of lush vegetation above us, they provided no help. Drenched, from head to toe. Then an incoming lorry stopped by. He gave us 2 ponchos, those disposable ones that come in many different colors. A yellow and a green one, I suppose. He took the green one and put it on. O.M.G. You guys should have seen how he looked, so freaking funny!! With his hair all wet, it went limp on his head, plus the disposable raincoat looking too small for his size. Gosh, you guys should have been there. With the hoodie above his head? Classic. Speechless.

Haha, anyway, the heavy downpour lasted only for a short while and being the Babi that he was, he took it off as soon as he could get rid of that makeshift raincoat. ("It is toxic to our skin"quoted from the Babi, but really was just a lame excuse to get it off, hehe!).

By the way, anyone interested in donating blood? There's an event at Dhoby Ghaut Station from 12pm-6pm on the 19-21 December :]

O, and I so am looking forward to the W54K gathering on the 23 December, pray I don't overeat :x Control me!! Haha!
